A village wedding full of family warmth in the Norwegian countryside
This one didn't look like my usual shoots — and that's exactly why I loved it.
Just a village, a tent full of long tables, a dog asleep on an old rug, and a family who opened their whole world for the day.
Vilje & Amalie's wedding was simplicity and soul — the kind you feel more than you see. Not grand gestures, but the small ones: a hand-written card, a borrowed mirror before the ceremony, a smile shared between two brides getting ready together, an embrace that says more than any speech could.
Every wedding I photograph tells a different story. Some unfold on wild cliffs above the sea. Others, like this one, unfold in a garden, under canvas, surrounded by everyone who has ever loved this family. The settings change. The one thing that never does is love — and that's what I'm here to find, every single time.
